Because of poor sleep, you may not be as alert or productive during your workday as you could be. Poor sleep can also lead to increased stress, confusion, and diminished physical performance that impacts everyday activities, including alertness and coordination.
In other words, your quality of sleep is important. There is a critical link between your sleep and ability to function at your highest level throughout the day. After you speak with your family doctor about your sleeping problems, we can help you on your way to getting a good night’s sleep every night!
Since September 2007, the Eastern Iowa Sleep Center (EISC) has met a significant need for sleep studies in Eastern Iowa, doubling the available sleep bed space in Cedar Rapids. With our 7 days a week, 20-room facility, EISC conducts sleep studies for more than a hundred people each week, during both nighttime and daytime hours.
